1. Free Initial Consultation

2. Comprehensive Assessment
Once you decide to work with us, we:
- Assess your strengths, areas for improvement, and academic/extracurricular profile
- Administer assessments of personality, intelligences, learning styles, and skills
- Enroll you in CustomCollegePlan, our online college-planning program
3. Exploration and Planning
We help you:
- Explore potential careers and majors
- Select high school courses, extracurriculars, and summer activities
- Understand the college planning process, including standardized tests and application deadlines
4. College Selection
Our expertise guides you to:
- Clarify your priorities for your college experience
- Research and select appropriate schools
- Compile a balanced college list that fits you academically, socially, emotionally, and financially
5. Application Support
We assist with:
- Planning college visits
- Crafting compelling main and supplemental application essays
- Preparing for interviews
6. Financial Guidance
We help you navigate:
- The financial aid process
- Assessment of award letters
7. Decision and Transition Support
We offer:
- Assistance with wait-list or appeals processes, if necessary
- Support in making your final college decision
- Guidance throughout your transition from high school to college
8. Ongoing Support
With our comprehensive package, we remain "on call" for consultation throughout the process and into your first year of college.
Our Commitment:
- Face-to-face or Zoom meetings (typically 45-75 minutes)
- Extensive consultant research
- Unlimited email/phone consultations between meetings
- Minimum of 30 hours of support, often exceeding 40 hours
- 80% direct consultation, 20% research and preparation
Special Considerations: For students requiring accommodations for learning differences or physical restrictions, we facilitate communication with college disability services offices.
