At Two Bridges College Consulting, we're committed to bringing sanity to your transition from high school to college. Here's how we work together:

1. Free Initial Consultation

2. Comprehensive Assessment

Once you decide to work with us, we:

  • Assess your strengths, areas for improvement, and academic/extracurricular profile
  • Administer assessments of personality, intelligences, learning styles, and skills
  • Enroll you in CustomCollegePlan, our online college-planning program

3. Exploration and Planning

We help you:

  • Explore potential careers and majors
  • Select high school courses, extracurriculars, and summer activities
  • Understand the college planning process, including standardized tests and application deadlines

4. College Selection

Our expertise guides you to:

  • Clarify your priorities for your college experience
  • Research and select appropriate schools
  • Compile a balanced college list that fits you academically, socially, emotionally, and financially

5. Application Support

We assist with:

  • Planning college visits
  • Crafting compelling main and supplemental application essays
  • Preparing for interviews

6. Financial Guidance

We help you navigate:

  • The financial aid process
  • Assessment of award letters

7. Decision and Transition Support

We offer:

  • Assistance with wait-list or appeals processes, if necessary
  • Support in making your final college decision
  • Guidance throughout your transition from high school to college

8. Ongoing Support

With our comprehensive package, we remain "on call" for consultation throughout the process and into your first year of college.

Our Commitment:

  • Face-to-face or Zoom meetings (typically 45-75 minutes)
  • Extensive consultant research
  • Unlimited email/phone consultations between meetings
  • Minimum of 30 hours of support, often exceeding 40 hours
  • 80% direct consultation, 20% research and preparation

Special Considerations: For students requiring accommodations for learning differences or physical restrictions, we facilitate communication with college disability services offices.

Levels of Service

Choose the package that works best for your needs.

Quick Start: $4,800                                                                                                                           

This is a 20-hour package for those students who want my expert help in developing and evaluating a balanced list of colleges; creating an impactful résumé or activities list; brainstorming, planning, revising, and polishing the personal statement; or filling out applications for up to 10 schools. Students who choose this plan tend to be self-motivated and organized—they don’t need a lot of guidance.

You may purchase additional hours at the rate of $240/hour, or you may choose to move up to the next level of service if you find that you need more than 20 hours.

Comprehensive: $6,000                                                                                                                     

This package encompasses up to 35 hours of service. It includes all the services above, plus personalized guidance on letters of recommendation, standardized testing, majors and careers, course scheduling, extracurricular activities, financial aid, scholarships, campus visits, interview preparation, evaluation of acceptances, check-ins freshman year, and more.

You may purchase additional hours at the rate of $240/hour, or you may choose to move up to the next level of service if you require more than 30 hours.

Enhanced Comprehensive: $8,000                                                                                                

This package encompasses up to 45 hours of personalized mentoring throughout the transition from high school to college. It covers all the services in the basic and comprehensive packages, but it is appropriate for those students who plan to apply to more than 10 schools or to selective schools requiring multiple supplemental essays or institutional applications. 

For every package, I dedicate the bulk of the hours to working directly with the student, spending a portion of the time researching, preparing for our meetings, and providing detailed follow-up reports to the student and parents.

There will be no refunds for hours not used. Regardless of the package you select, you may contact me at any time via email or text and I will respond promptly.
